TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout – Bowling Green 2018

TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout gear jammers were thrust into center ring at the Nitto Tire NMRA All-Ford World Finals September 27-30, 2018, at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This was the second TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout of 2018.

The shootout is open to any NMRA True Street participant using a street-type manual transmission. From new to old, any stick-shift equipped Ford vehicle can be entered and will have the special opportunity to qualify. And TREMEC is proud to support those who shift their own gears by presenting the biannual TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout. This Shootout is held in conjunction with the Nitto Tire Spring Break Shootout presented by Steeda Autosports in Bradenton, Florida.

It’s that time again! Time for the Spring Edition of the 2018 TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout! As part of the Nitto 24^th annual Spring Break Shootout presented by Steeda Autosports, the TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout pits the eight quickest manual-transmission-equipped cars from the QA1 True Street class in a heads up shootout for stick-shift supremacy!

TREMEC-Equipped Cars of the 2017 SEMA Show

The SEMA Show is the largest automotive trade show in the world. Companies in the specialty-car industry, car builders, company sales reps and media gather each year in early November to show off new wares, discuss products and bring people up to speed on the state of the automotive aftermarket.

In recent years, the Las Vegas event has also become a showcase of spectacular car and truck builds that show off manufacturers’ products.

A common factor with many of the stunning vehicles that make appearances at the SEMA Show is that they are equipped with TREMEC manual transmissions, from the venerable T-5 to the awesome might of the Magnum 6-speed.

TREMEC Elite Distributor Conference 2017

TREMEC strives to have open lines of communication between its distributors who sell our motorsport and aftermarket products and the TREMEC team who designs and builds them.

To that end, we recently hosted the 2017 Elite Distributor Summit. We brought distributor reps to our facility so that they could spend time with the TREMEC employees and to see our vertically integrated manufacturing process– where raw materials come in one door, and final product goes out the other. Mexico Earthquake Relief Efforts

Since Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas, Irma swept across the Florida Keys and along the Gulf Coast, earthquakes struck Mexico and most recently Hurricane Maria’s devastation throughout Puerto Rico, individuals and groups are coming together to support relief and recovery efforts.
