The TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout’s first event of 2026 was Mustang Week Texas, with Jesse Rodriguez with his 2024 Mustang GT taking home the victory and a brand new TREMEC TKX 5-speed transmission. The TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout is back for 2026, and the first event will take place as part of Mustang Week Texas. For the first time Mustang Week Texas will include drag racing, and it will feature the TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout. While the main festivities of Mustang Week Texas will be held April 14-18 in Galveston, Texas, the drag racing portion and TREMEC Stick Shift Shootout will be held at Houston Motorsports Park on Thursday, April 16.
