The Flacon’s engine is a stock Ford 5.0L Coyote V8. The factory ECU was replaced by the specially designed Arrington Performance unit (in cooperation with Bosch). The 5.0L makes approximately 500 horsepower on hydrogen compared the factory rating of 460 horsepower on gasoline.
